YogaBubs’ Baby Yoga Founder and co-owner of The Orange Grove Clinic, Jackie Heffer-Cooke is holding a Baby Yoga Christmas Party on December 14th 12pm until 2pm at The Open Youth Trust, Bank Plain, in aid of fund raising for the MLBU (Midwifery Led Birthing Unit). Pop along, enjoy a mince pie with friends, indulge in a well-deserved back massage from our Orange Grove Clinic Massage Angels, groove to our new ‘DiscoBubs’ vibe and then do some more gentle Christmas themed baby yoga and raise money at the same time for a needy cause this Christmas.
It’s for Charity…
All of the profit from the £5 entrance for the Christmas Party YogaBubs (disco, yoga and mince pie with tea included in the price) will go to the fund. Babies are welcome from new-borns to toddlers and can wear Christmas fancy dress if they like, mums – can you find a pair of Christmas socks? Or maybe some nifty Christmas ear-rings?
There will also be a fund-raising raffle with first prize being an amazing win of 6 months VIP Massage Membership from The Orange Grove (worth £210). Other prizes include; a free YogaBubs course, luxurious massage oils, vouchers from local restaurants, and a free months membership at Riverside Leisure Centre.
Jackie Heffer-Cooke has been teaching ‘YogaBubs’ Baby Yoga for 7 years, since her own son Sam was a baby. She says, “It’s good to think about giving at Christmas time, not just to our nearest and dearest but to charity too. Christmas is such a time of magic, wonder and yep some excess! So it’s good to feel you are giving something back, even in just a small way”.
Whether you have been before, or would like to try out something new, this is a great fun opportunity to join a party, meet some friendly people, do something good for you and your baby, and raise money for a good cause all at the same time – be sure to join us J
